Our family is looking for a new pup so it has to be a family dog first, so cuteness counts, and a capable hunting dog second. I really like the GWP's, my wife like Springers and generally thinks most of the Pointing breeds are ugly.

Hard to get the shot with a flusher, if you don’t have a clue where the dog is. A pointer with a beeper that tells the hunter where the dog is, when it goes on point, is a big advantage in the prairie grass.
